Job Description

The Contact Center Receptionist is a supportive position that directs phone calls to appropriate stores or individuals at Dunn Lumber. This position answers incoming calls, handles certain customer inquiries, and routes customers to the appropriate party based on their stated reason for calling. Receptionists will answer about 40 calls per hour during the peak summer months.

This is a Part-Time position, working from 7:00 am-6:00pm on Mondays with flexible hours for the rest of the week, no greater than 29 hours total. This is NOT a remote position. Employees will be on site at our Distribution Center in Everett, address found above.

The starting wage for this position is $18.00 per hour and is eligible for overtime.

Qualifications

Employees must possess the ability to perform the following duties:

• Answer and direct calls to sales groups, leadership teams, or a specific employee
• Efficiently operate a multi-line phone system
• Maintain calm in difficult situations
• Adeptly manage multiple priorities
• Conduct oneself in a manner consistent with Dunn Lumber’s core values
• Other duties as assigned

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have competent typing skills, proficient in general computer operations, and a clear and pleasant speaking tone over the phone. Prior experience using multi-line phone systems is preferred.
