We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Network Services to lead and manage our global network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in network technology and unified communications, with a particular emphasis on the financial services sector. This role demands a visionary technology leader who is both strategic and hands-on, capable of overseeing complex network operations while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management: Oversee and direct global network architecture, design, deployment, and operations. Manage multiple teams, including those responsible for networking, telephony, and audiovisual systems, ensuring cohesive and effective performance across all functions.
• Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement strategic plans for network infrastructure that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. Provide leadership and guidance in the planning and execution of network projects.
• Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of network architectures, telephony platforms, audiovisual media, cloud technologies, switches, firewalls, operating systems, and application connectivity. Ensure the integrity, security, and performance of network systems.
• Operational Excellence: Direct the operational management of network services, ensuring the highest levels of performance, reliability, and security. Address and resolve complex technical issues and provide actionable insights to enhance network operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in network technology and unified communications, with at least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  - Proficiency with network security technologies, including firewalls, point-to-point VPN, and client VPN.
  - Demonstrated expertise in managing complex network architectures, telephony platforms, audiovisual systems, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with SD-WAN, Cloud Computing (AWS/AZURE), Automation (Ansible), VPN/Virtualization
