Job Summary: Ateema is looking for a skilled sales specialist to focus on selling sophisticated digital advertising solutions and securing sponsorships for high-profile events such as the Hospitality & Tourism Summit and The Chicago Hotel Meetup . This role is also responsible for driving revenue in Concierge Preferred Magazine and Chicago Hotel Maps , the only visitor publication, and maps in Chicago’s hotels. This position also sells our red-hot, ChicagoDoes channels on Instagram and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell AI-powered digital advertising campaigns targeted at local audiences, enhancing our clients' visibility and engagement.
  • Secure sponsorships for notable industry events, working closely with companies to maximize their exposure through these gatherings.
  • Sell ads in Concierge Preferred Magazine and Chicago Hotel Maps.
  • Maintain an active schedule of sales meetings and proposal presentations to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the Partner Success Team to develop tailored contracts and proposals that align with client objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven success in digital advertising sales and sponsorship acquisition.
  • Keen understanding of the tourism, meetings, and events industries preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with the dynamics of the tourism industry, supplemented by a robust professional network.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, CRM and proposal software, and modern sales techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, along with 3-7 years of relevant sales experience. Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
