Internship Program Overview

At Authentica Solutions, we recognize the importance of nurturing early-career talent and providing opportunities to gain real-world experience. Our Internship Program is designed to offer students comprehensive insight, experience, and expertise in the education technology sector. This 6-week program aims to provide interns with hands-on experience, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

Program Details:

• Duration: 6 weeks
• Start Date: June 2, 2025
• End Date: July 11, 2025
• Location: Remote (U.S. only, specific states)
• Hours: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST (30 hours per week)

Program Objectives:

• Hands-on Learning : Enable interns to apply academic knowledge to real-world projects, enhancing their practical skills and understanding of industry practices.
• Professional Development : Provide mentorship and guidance to help interns improve technical abilities, problem-solving skills, and project management capabilities.
• Innovation and Contribution : Engage interns in collaborative projects that encourage innovative thinking and contribute to the development or improvement of our products and services.
• Cross-functional Exposure : Offer opportunities to interact with various departments, fostering a holistic understanding of the organization's operations and encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Feedback and Growth: Implement a structured feedback system to regularly assess performance, promote continuous learning, and support interns' professional growth.

Program Structure:

• Orientation: Introduce interns to company culture, values, policies, and procedures to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
• Project Assignments : Assign real-world projects under the guidance of experienced mentors, allowing interns to apply their skills in practical settings.
• Training and Development : Conduct workshops and training sessions aimed at enhancing both technical and soft skills relevant to the industry.
• Mentorship: Pair each intern with a mentor who provides guidance, feedback, and support throughout the program, aiding in goal setting and professional development.
• Evaluation and Feed back: Offer ongoing feedback and conduct formal evaluations to assess performance, acknowledge achievements, and identify areas for improvement.
• Final Presentation/Capstone : Conclude the program with interns presenting their projects and accomplishments to company leadership and peers, showcasing their contributions and learning outcomes.

Eligibility Criteria:

The Internship Program is open to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in accredited institutions within the United States. Candidates from diverse backgrounds and academic disciplines are encouraged to apply. Please note that due to employment regulations and tax requirements, we are only able to hire candidates residing in the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah.

Data Scientist Position Overview

Join our team for a 6-week summer internship focused on data science in education. Gain hands-on experience with Python and Databricks while working on real projects that drive improvements to our Education Intelligence Platform.

Internship Highlights:

• Structured Onboarding: Learn company processes using GitHub, Jira, Outlook, and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Data Projects: Build and optimize data pipelines with Databricks, conduct exploratory analysis, and develop data visualizations.
• Capstone Project: Develop and present a capstone project that applies your data science skills to solve a real-world educational challenge.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Work with experienced mentors and engage in team-based problem solving.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to uncover actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and Databricks.
• Support the creation and testing of basic machine learning models.
• Document findings and present results to the team.

Required Skills and Experience

Must Have:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proficient in Python, with experience using libraries like pandas and NumPy.
• Basic understanding of data cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Databricks or a strong willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning techniques.
