Job Title: Data Engineer II

Job Description :

• We are looking for an analytical resultsoriented selfmotivated and customerfocused Data Engineer to play a key role in building critical data pipelines and analytics tools across Prime Air.

Typical Day in the Role:

• The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical abilities outstanding business acumen and judgment intense curiosity and strong technical skills.

• They are a selfstarter comfortable with ambiguity able to think big and be creative (while paying careful attention to detail) and enjoy working in a fastpaced dynamic environment.

• To be successful in this role you should have broad skills in endtoend database design making datasets readilyconsumable by visualization tools and notification systems creating automated alarming and dashboards to monitor data integrity creating and managing capacity and performance plans working closely with both business & tech stakeholders to make data driven decisions and acting as the subject matter expert for the data structure and usage.

Key job responsibilities

• Design and develop the pipelines required for optimal extraction transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL Python and AWS big data technologies.

• Oversee and continually improve production operations including optimizing data delivery redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability code deployments bug fixes and overall release management and coordination.

• Establish and maintain best practices for the design development and support of data integration solutions including documentation.

• Work closely with Product teams Data Scientists Software developers and Business Intelligence Engineer to explore new data sources and deliver the data.

• Able to read write and debug data processing and orchestration code written Python/Scala etc following best coding standards (e.g. version controlled code reviewed etc.)

• Experience with nonrelational databases / data stores (object storage document or keyvalue stores graph databases columnfamily databases)

Candidate Requirements:

Basic qualifications

• 3 years of data engineering experience

• 2 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift Oracle NoSQL etc. experience

• Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing

• Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines

• Experience working on and delivering end to end projects independently

• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as: Preference is in order of Python C# C Java PowerShell

• Experience with Redshift NoSQL etc.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift S3 AWS Glue EMR Kinesis FireHose Lambda and IAM roles and permissions

Degree or Certification:

• Bachelors Degree (Math/computer science)
