Job Description
MITRE leverages deep technical knowledge to perform defensive cyber operations, enable offensive objectives, and conduct adversary emulation. We develop technologies, practices, and approaches to protect critical infrastructure from malicious cyber or non-kinetic attack or disruption. We help our customers architect, assess, and acquire safe, secure, and resilient cyber systems that meet their operational needs
As an Intern working in cyber or information security, you will work with a team to apply your knowledge and gain experience with one or more of the following:

Clearance : In addition to passing MITRE’s employment background check, you may be submitted for a U.S. Government Security clearance. This is determined by the Department of Defense’s adjudicative guidelines for receiving a clearance, to include U.S. citizenship.
