Job Summary:

We are seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant to join our team and assist with patient care, maintaining department/clinic efficiency and other duties as assigned. As a crucial link between patient and physician, you will contribute to making life better for others by ensuring proper tests are administered and accurately reported. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients and rooms for exams and procedures
• Perform basic laboratory testing, point of care testing, phlebotomy and administer medications as directed by physician/nurse practitioner
• Assist physician/nurse practitioner with exams and procedures
• Accurately document medical information in patient records and track/route test results to physician(s)/nurse practitioner(s)
• Facilitate patient care activities and maintain inventory of medical, office, and pharmaceutical supplies
• Exercise timely, concise, and appropriate use of telephone to meet needs of external and internal customers
• Process orders appropriately and perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Experience: One year of experience as a back office medical assistant in a clinic setting

Education: Completion of a medical assistant program, equivalent experience, or formal medical services training program

Skills: Strong keyboard and electronic system navigation skills applicable to job functions

Licensure: Current American Heart Association approved CPR certification and medical assistant certification required within one year of hire

Pay Range: USD $23.00 - USD $32.20 per hour
