Job Description

Job Title: Cleaning Technician

Location: Downtown Indianapolis

Job Type:Part-time

Pay: $15.50 ($15.00 per hour + $0.50 per hour attendance bonus)

Schedule: Sunday 8pm-2am

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team and contribute to the overall cleanliness and safety of all our settings.

Responsibilities:

  1. General Cleaning:

    • Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and organized industrial environment.
    • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove debris and dust.
    • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
  2. Equipment Cleaning:

    • Operate cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and power washers, to maintain machinery and workspaces.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and storage of cleaning tools and equipment.
  3. Waste Management:

    • Collect and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
    • Separate recyclables from non-recyclables.
  4. Safety Compliance:

    • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
    • Report any safety hazards, malfunctions, or damage to the supervisor.
  5. Detail Cleaning:

    • Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed, including window washing, wall cleaning, and high-dust removal.
  6. Communication:

    • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient cleaning processes.
    • Communicate any special cleaning requirements or issues to the supervisor.
  7. Inventory Management:

    • Monitor and report the need for cleaning supplies and equipment.
    • Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of cleaning materials.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in industrial cleaning or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various cleaning equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
  • Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work during non-standard hours, weekends, or overtime as needed.
