ABOUT THE ROLE


Santa Mariabased nonprofit client is seeking a parttime CFO to take on managing the accounting department of the organization. This is a fully onsite opportunity with flexible hours.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Prepare and present financial reports as needed
• Oversee and manage the accounting department of the organization ensuring accuracy
• Assist in the creation of the yearly budgets and accurately track KPIs
• Oversee the FP&A efforts of the organization as needed
• Other duties as needed

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5 years of combined public accounting and private/public company experience not for profit experience a plus
• Prior experience in management required
• Solid understanding and working knowledge of GAAP and financial statements
• Strong management organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work with individuals from all levels of an organization
• Possess welldeveloped interpersonal and communication verbal and written skills
• Adherence to the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
