Cook II – Elevate Campus Dining at DU!
Location: University of Denver
Pay: $20.38–$24.70/hour | Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
Bring your passion for cooking to DU! As a Cook II with Sodexo, you’ll prepare delicious meals that fuel students, faculty, and guests at a variety of events—from daily dining services to large-scale catered functions across campus. This role involves all aspects of catering, requiring both culinary expertise and bakery experience to craft quality dishes and baked goods that impress.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot/cold food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events
  • Follow recipes and food safety guidelines to ensure top-quality meals
  • Operate a grill station and serve customers with a smile
  • Utilize bakery experience to prepare baked goods for events and daily service
  • Assist with catering functions, ensuring seamless event execution across DU’s campus
  • Support management in daily kitchen operations when needed

  • 3–4 years of cooking experience (bakery experience required)
