Job Description

Position: Product Owner

Duration: 6-8 month contract to hire position

Location: Lewisville, TX (4 days Onsite)

  1. Experience with Connected Services within Automotive
  2. Candidate must agree to work Hybrid 4 days onsite, 1 remote in Lewisville, TX.
  3. Azure DevOps experience
  4. 5-10 years of experience

Key Responsibilities
Define, prioritize, and manage product backlogs, working closely with Scrum teams to set and adjust priorities based on project requirements and business value.
Lead sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and demos, ensuring stakeholders are aligned on sprint goals and product features.
Engage with technical leads and engineering teams to refine user stories and prioritize backlog items for connected automotive solutions, ideally in the EEV/BEV (Electric and Battery Electric Vehicles) space.
Collaborate with project managers, Scrum masters, data analysts, and data engineers to overcome project bottlenecks and drive team success.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure that Connected Services products align with customer needs and CLIENT's sustainability goals, contributing to the development of innovative and sustainable automotive technologies.
Coordinate with cross-functional and global teams, including potential interactions with EU stakeholders, to streamline communication and prioritize product requirements.
Generate and present sprint and progress reports to leadership, driving transparency and accountability.



Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical or business field.
5-10 years of experience as a Product Owner or in product management with a strong record in complex technology programs, ideally within automotive, EEV/BEV, or energy domains.
Automotive experience required.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies; familiarity with Azure DevOps is a plus.
Proficiency in API development or interfacing with technical development teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage product backlogs, facilitate sprint planning, and lead demos in a Scrum setting.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience presenting to and working alongside global stakeholders.
Enthusiasm for sustainability and a deep understanding of automotive technology, particularly in Connected Services.

As a Product Owner, you will manage and prioritize development workstreams for global, cross-functional, and complex projects, collaborating closely with software and hardware engineering teams. You'll guide sprint planning, set project priorities, and manage product backlogs. You will ensure alignment between CLIENT's technical teams and global stakeholders, often interfacing with European partners.
