Job Description

Our company specializes in packing and crating, shipping, and installation of works of art - paintings, sculptures, etc. Our job site is in Santa Fe, NM.

We are looking for a Full-time employee who will help us with the below tasks during regular business hours 10am-6pm.

• Build hardwood crates for artwork and pack it in the crate.
• Pack/wrap artworks with the use of glassine paper, plastic, foam, and cardboard
• Do pick-ups and deliveries of artwork on the company's Van in the Santa Fe area.
• Handle and move artworks, high-end furniture and antiques including wrapping, packing, and crating using appropriate techniques and materials.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail, discretion, and follow-through. Must be a team player, with the ability to lead and effectively communicate instructions.
• Knowledge and interest in fine art, decorative art, and design.
• knowledge of industry-standard packing, crating, and installation techniques and materials.
• Ability to speak effectively to clients and communicate with coworkers.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.
• The prospective employee must have a valid DL and be authorized to work in the US.
• The prospective employee must have similar previous experience working with art packing/shipping.
• Must be able to perform lifting, moving, heavy objects (more than 75 lbs.), bending, kneeling, crouching, etc. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift a min. of 50lbs on their own.
• Lifting, moving, pushing, and pulling equipment, cases, containers, or boxes more than 15-50 lbs.
